I dont know about the taming the hurricanes, but “science” are trying to figure ways to reduce the temperature at Gulf of Mexico, that’s the portion where the tropical storms intensifies, due to hot water,into a hurricanes.

It seem thesedays, America is being hit by freak weather everyday, I wonder when ‘old faithful’ in Yellowstone will explode into a super volcano !! :)

one of the major thing haunting me after i got admission to UNO was that of a hurricane. I had seen what Katrina did there and also saw what the US government didnt do so the fear of being in such a situation is always there in the back of my mind. I just hope there are no more Katrina’s not just for me (im totally scared) but for everyone that might be affected and was affected before.
