1. BHAGAVAD-GITA As It Is by Swami Prabhupada
2. The Eliade guide to world religions by Mircea Eliade
3. A New Earth: Awakening of your life’s purpose by Eckhart Tolle

Why have you suddendly turned religious ???
General books on Big Bang, quantum mechanic, string theory. time travel and General relativity, parallel universe( multiverse) etc these days usually contain philosopical explaination of the very nature of our existence.. check them out too if you can..

I am not much more religious than what I already was
I’m just trying to reach the roots and underlying principles of religions (particularly hinduism), which seems to be lost in translation.
