I recently got to use nikon d90 with 18-105mm VR lens in Nepal..

I thought the lens was fav for everyday use to take pics of friends and family..

I advise to anyone is to spend more money on the lens than the camera…

Thanks for sharing your views on DSLRs. I have recently upgraded to Canon Kiss x3 (Canon EOS 500D). It was expensive a bit but I selected it for its Full HD video taking capability along with other features. I particularly like DSLRs for 3 reasons: excellent night shots, continuous fast shooting capability, and better Depth Of Field (DOF). well, there are several other reasons for opting a DSLR which I believe you know better than me

This post came at very proper time (at least for me:)…. As I was planing to upgrade my own camera,I found this post very much informative.

“I understand, it’s not always advisable and possible to carry a bulky camera around, but for those “Kodak moments” you always have your cell phone camera.”
This line has inspired me a lot:)
